No Shave November

No Shave November is a goal to grow awareness of embracing our hair which many people with cancer end up losing. It’s celebrated to donate money men typically use to spend on shaving and grooming to educate cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those who are battling the disease. No Shave November was founded on Facebook in 2009 and in 2013 a partnership with the American Cancer Society had begun. The term was made up by young men in 1999 and then the foundation was founded in 2004. The tradition has been running for 8 years and still is a trend to this very day in November.
