Cross Country caps successful season

So far this year, the SIS Cross Country team has been going strong. With the season begins in early September and ends right after States on November 4th. The boys’ record is 9-3 and the girls’ is 11-1.We talked to Scott Gura, the boy’s Cross Country coach,  and he said he hopes the teams finish around the top 5 in the state. Last year they ended with the boys in 11th and girls in 5th.

The top runners this season for the boys are 8th grader Will R. and 7th grader, Jimmy M.. The top runners for girls are 8th grader is Adriana F. and for 7th grader Kaylee B. The SIS Viking wishes all runners good luck.
